Felesia’ R.L. Porter, also known as FENATURE or Nature Change the Weather, is a native of Oakland and a multifaceted individual making a significant impact in various realms. With a dynamic presence as a rapper, songwriter, entrepreneur, and community leader, Felesia’ is at the forefront of positive change.

After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Media and Cultural Studies from UC Riverside, Felesia’ has consistently demonstrated her dedication to education and personal growth. Her academic achievements serve as a solid foundation for her extensive work in the community.

With over 7 years of experience working closely with latchkey kids, Felesia’ has witnessed the unique challenges faced by this underrepresented demographic. Moreover, she boasts an impressive decade-long background working with developmentally disabled adults, exemplifying her commitment to inclusivity and empathy.

Recognizing a crucial gap in the resources available to Oakland's youth, Felesia’ took bold action. In response to the lack of safe and supportive spaces for young individuals to connect, learn, and grow, she founded and currently serves as the CEO of Youth Bar: Oakland’s Safe Haven. Through this visionary initiative, she has created a unique and nurturing environment where young people can interact and engage in  enriching activities, workshops, and even travel experiences.
